Calling All Clubs Participating in the Attendance Program

Can you believe that the school year is already coming to an end?! We just want to let you know about our offer for submitting your Seventh Generation Club’s attendance records early. The last school day in May is the last day of classes that we include in our attendance records calculations for the 2009/2010 school year.

If you wish to receive your prizes before the summer holidays, we request the following:

1)      Submit your Club’s completed Master Attendance List (up to and including May) no later than June 3rd, 2010.
2)      State your school’s last day of regular classes (to ensure that the school is open to receive the prizes).

We would also love your feedback on how the attendance program went this year. So, if you have 5 minutes to spare, you can go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/seventhgenerationclubattendanceevaluation20092010 to complete our survey.

Seventh Generation Club Sports Day

Mark June 11, 2010 on your calendars!

The Seventh Generation Club encourages all First Nations schools to hold Sports Day on the same day each year to promote exercise, healthy living and pride in our schools. If June 11th is inconvenient for your school, choose another day and you will still be able to participate.

Don’t forget to send us pictures (photo release form), or stories from your Sports Day and they may be featured in our newsletter, daytimer or website!

Seventh Generation Club Science Day

Attention all scientists!!!! Indulge your curiosity for the world around you and your enthusiasm for science by joining in the fun with your teacher and classmates. The next Seventh Generation Club Annual Science Day is scheduled for November 12, 2010.

We want to include the fun of science day on our webpage and in our newsletter, so please don’t forget to send us pictures (photo release form), drawings and stories of you and your fellow student-scientists at work.
