Nursing Might Be the Career For You
Have you ever thought about becoming a nurse? Nurses are employed in hospitals, nursing homes, community health agencies, health centres and clinics, doctors’ offices, schools, and many other places. Nurses have very interesting and important jobs, and it is a great career choice for anyone who really likes to help people.
Nursing education programs are offered throughout B.C. at many different colleges, university colleges, and universities. To be accepted into any of those programs, you will need to complete English 12, as well as math, biology, and chemistry.
Employment for nurses is expected to grow steadily, and it might prove to be a great job for you. Try talking to a nurse to ask questions about what the job entails and how to go about becoming a nurse yourself. If you are interested in nursing, remember – study hard, and keep taking English, math, and sciences.
